Sporting Kansas City released its Player Availability Report on March 13 ahead of the upcoming match against the LA Galaxy in the Walmart Saturday Showdown at Dignity Health Sports Park.

The report provides updates on which players will be available or unavailable for the game, an important consideration for fans and analysts tracking team performance and lineup changes. The information is based on the league’s official Player Status Report submitted a day before the match.

According to Sporting Kansas City, six players will be unavailable for selection. Newly-signed winger Capita Capemba is out as he awaits his P1 visa. Other absentees include defender Zorhan Bassong (hamstring), defender Ian James (quad), goalkeeper Jack Kortkamp (ankle), defender Justin Reynolds (hamstring), and goalkeeper Ryan Schewe (hand). No Sporting Kansas City players are listed as questionable.

For LA Galaxy, four players are ruled out: defender Emiro Garces (foot), forward Joseph Paintsil (thigh), forward Gabriel Pec (suspended), and defender Chris Rindov (leg). Like Sporting, no LA Galaxy players are listed as questionable.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Central Time, with actual kick at 8:40 p.m. The match will be available to stream on Apple TV and broadcast locally on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.

As both teams deal with multiple absences, adjustments to lineups may impact strategies going into this weekend’s matchup.
