On Thursday, May 1, former Staley High School standout Kinnick Sielaff’s current college team, the Missouri Western Griffons, lost 10-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.
The game took place at Fleharty Family Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Gorillas this season.

Sporting Kansas City II has signed Academy defender Jaxson Kalinka to an amateur contract ahead of their match against Colorado Rapids 2. The move allows Kalinka, age 17, to compete this season while keeping his NCAA eligibility.
