On Thursday, May 15, former Notre Dame De Sion High School standout Lauren Ellwanger’s current collegiate team the Simpson Storm won 9-5 against the DePauw Tigers in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Saint Mary’s Softball Field at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the DePauw Tigers in the tournament.

The Simpson Storm’s next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Softball Field.
