The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce announced on April 30 the release of the April 2026 issue of its GROW KC Business Digital Magazine.

The digital magazine offers insights into key topics relevant to the local business community. This edition features an interview with Kelly Carlson, President and CEO of Arvest Bank, Greater Kansas City, discussing his perspective on what makes Kansas City unique.

Other sections in this issue examine changing trends in health and wellness as experienced by three businesses based in Kansas City. The magazine also explores the idea of shared responsibility for public safety through contributions from members of the Public Safety Coalition.

The Chamber expressed appreciation to its members for their continued support and noted that access to this publication is one benefit provided through membership.

Future issues are expected to continue highlighting local leaders and addressing important topics for businesses across Kansas City.

Springfield man sentenced to 35 years for aggravated sexual abuse of a minor

A Springfield man has been sentenced to thirty-five years without parole on charges involving aggravated sexual abuse against a minor under twelve as well as illicit conduct abroad. The case involved offenses committed both during military service overseas and later trips back as a civilian.
