The Kansas City Public Library announced on Mar. 30 that it is inviting qualified applicants to submit quotes for E-Rate Consultant Services. The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, April 24, at 11:00 a.m. local time.

This request aims to secure professional consulting services related to the federal E-Rate program, which helps libraries and schools obtain affordable telecommunications and internet access. The process allows potential consultants to provide their qualifications and pricing in response to the library’s needs.

Quotes can be submitted either as hard print copies or by email, but all must be received by the specified deadline. Correspondence should be clearly marked with “KCPL E-Rate Consultant Services.”

The full Request for Quote (RFQ) document is available online through the Kansas City Public Library’s website under public notices. According to the announcement, “Library may modify or cancel the RFQ at any time prior to the RFQ due date by issuance of an Addendum or Cancellation to all Proposers who are participating in the process at the time the Addendum/Cancellation is issued.” Any changes or cancellations will be posted on the library’s RFP/Public Notices webpage.

Proposers are encouraged to monitor this webpage regularly for updates, addenda, or cancellations regarding this opportunity. The library also clarified that verbal modifications will not be considered binding.
