Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced the appointment of Sean Pilliard as Associate Circuit Judge for Pettis County in Missouri’s 18th Judicial Circuit. Pilliard is an experienced attorney with expertise in bankruptcy, criminal defense, and family law. He practices at the Law Offices of Sean P. Pilliard.

Pilliard is active in the community, participating in the Pettis County Bar Association, Sedalia and Pettis County Economic Development, and serving on the Sedalia Park Band board. He also volunteers for various youth activities in the area. His educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri.

He will be filling the vacancy left by Judge R. Paul Beard II.
