The Kansas City Chiefs have reacquired defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi in a trade with the New York Jets. Nnadi, who joined the Jets as a free agent earlier this year, had previously spent seven seasons with the Chiefs before leaving for New York in March.

During his initial tenure with Kansas City, Nnadi played in 115 games and started 87 of them. Known for his ability to stop the run on early downs, the 29-year-old now returns to a familiar environment and is expected to resume his role on the team.
